Since 1985

Hi, I am Cécile DUFLOS.

I used to breed Afghan Hounds (Our latest one, BAKARA'S CELINE, 12 years old, daughter of American Import SHARJA SHINING EXAMPLE and Spanish Import HUILACO'S JORDANAH left us the 2nd of August, 1999).

On the photo of April 1998, you can see 3 Generations of BAKARA'S Greyhounds (from right to left grand mother, mother and daughter and on the front one of our puppies born in 1998).

From Right to Left :

BIS, Italian, International Champion BAKARA'S AMANDA (Italian Champion Rondelin Mo Hawk of Solstrand x Italian, Spanish Champion ROMANE - Our foundation bitch), 12 years 1/2 old on the photo.
BAKARA'S ELISA (Solstrand Vibart at Bareve x BIS, Italian, International Champion Bakara's Amanda), 9 years old on the photo.
International Champion BAKARA'S ILONA (Italian, International Champion Bakara's Arthur- brother of Amanda x Bakara's Elisa), 5 years old on the photo.

The BAKARA'S line started in 1985 with the first litter. In 24 years I produced only 12 litters with success for the dogs exhibited.

The "R" Litter born the 18th of October 2000 with 3 boys (Ch. Raemond, Rafaël and Ch. René-Alexander) and 2 girls (Rose-Anna and Ch. Rosely-Amber)
The "S" Litter born the 14th of October 2001 with 3 boys (Stanislas, Sullivan and Sergio-Paulo) and 4 girls (Salomé, Samanta-Lee, Scarlett-Lily and Selena-Luna).
The "U" Litter born the 21st of January 2003 with 1 boy (Ugolin) and 2 bitches (Ch. Ursula-Freya and Ch. Ulla-Maria).
The "V" Litter born the 20th of june 2004 with 1 girl (Vanille).
The "A"Litter born the 2nd of november 2005 with 8 girls (Assia, Amalia, Alix, Ch. Anaïs, Anaëlle, Auxane, Alexanne and Ch. Amandine).
The "D" Litter born the 14th of april 2008 with 2 boys (Ch. Djovany, Dahomey) and 7 girls (Ch. Dragana, Diane-Lee, Ch. Dixie, Daphnée, LSP. Ch. Dalila, Danaëlle and Ch. Dayana).

It is not possible to think about the two litters born in 1998 without speaking of the wonderful young boy imported from Australia : Australian Champion, European Champion 1998 XILONE BLACK JACK.

I would like to introduce you too Import from Sweden, the blue brindle Swedish Champion HICKORY'S NAUTICUS. He won the Skokloster show in 1998.
I would like to thank Bitte AHRENS, breeder of the famous kennel SOBERS in Sweden for offering MARVIN. He is the proud father of a litter born the 18th of October 2000.

**AMANDINE et VANILLE**

The Greyhounds at BAKARA'S are selected for the Shows but above all they have a family life and they are our best companions. The old lady BAKARA'S AMANDA, whose 13th birthday was on November 1998, the 25th, used to live in the living room and the kitchen till her death. And all the others have their own bedroom with beds and sofas for the night.

During the day they live in our property of 8.000 m2.

The young are born in the living room. So they are familiar with the different noises, with the people and are well conditionned for their future life.

When they start to walk they explore the garden and at about 1 month 1/2 they go in a large park to develop their body.

AS YOU CAN SEE I AM VERY PROUD OF MY GREYHOUNDS.

BUT BESIDES BEEING BREEDING OR SHOWING QUALITY, THEY ARE ALL LIVING PETS !!!
